RGV native Jorge Mata held a Skills Footwork & Agility Clinic in Harlingen on Saturday. The event was split into two sessions, morning for ages 5-13 & night for ages 13 and above.

Several athletes attended to help themselves improve on their feet work and overall body movements for their current sport being played or for the upcoming season.

Several RGV football athletes were on hand for the US Army combine events held at the Alamodome in San Antonio this past weekend. Nothing but great things were said about the RGV kids, several turned a lot of heads and opened up a lot of eyes.

Coach Yebra wins his 500th game

Congratulations to McAllen Rowe basketball coach Jose Yebra on winning his 500th career game on Friday.

Rowe defeated La Joya Palmview 39-36 in a District 30-6A match up at their home court at McAllen Rowe H.S., which included several former players in attendance to witness the landmark win.
